  4. FAQ - Computer Network Printing services (top)

Q: Why do I have to pay for laser printing at the library?
    A
: The library is providing high quality laser printing, and must recover costs for equipment, toner, paper, printing software, etc.

Q: Where is the public computer printer, and how do I use it?
    A
: The printer is located across from the Circulation Desk on the First Floor. To use the printer, first send a print job from the computer you are using, then go to the public printer and use the computer that is next to it. Press the ?Refresh? key. Your jobs are identified by the patron PC number (Example:patpc16) located on the upper-left corner of the monitor you sent the print job from. If you have typed in a unique name to identify your print job it will be listed by that name. Highlight your job(s) on the list. Review your total pages and cost. Insert the appropriate amount of money in the change machine next to the printer, and then click on "Print". You can choose not to print by clicking "Cancel".
