Assistive Services

The Library makes two assistive technologies available to its users. These are a TDD2700 Telecommunications Device and a Chroma CCD magnifier.

The TDD2700 Telecommunications Device facilitates telephone use for persons who are deaf or hearing impaired. It is kept at the Circulation counter on the first floor of the Library.

The Chroma CCD Magnifier can be used for writing and for enlarging small objects and the print in books and journals. It is located on the west side of the third floor in the Opie Library.
