Scope and Content Note:
The June and Richard Ross Collection contains a variety of records donated by
the Rosses between 1991 and 1995. Many of the records provide genealogical
information concerning individuals of Cornish descent residing in Michigan?s
Copper Country, such as an index to Cornish persons in the 1860 census for
Ontonagon County and declaration of intention records for Keweenaw County,
1904-1914. Other items, such as a 1915 diary excerpt and cemetery listings for
Cliff and the St. Joseph?s Hospital graveyard, are of more general historical
value.
