| Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS) - Digital facsimile of the official documentary historical record of major U.S. foreign policy decisions and significant diplomatic activity that have been declassified and edited for publication. This is an incomplete run from 1863-1958 with missing volumes being added as they can be acquired and processed. The series is produced by the State Department's Office of the Historian and is being digitized by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries in collaboration with the University of Illinois at Chicago Libraries. It contains documents from Presidential libraries, Departments of State and Defense, National Security Council, Central Intelligence Agency, Agency for International Development, and other foreign affairs agencies as well as the private papers of individuals involved in formulating U.S. foreign policy. |
