Scope provides full-text searching and instant access to all titles published by ACS from 1879 to present with seamless integration of searches between the Archives and the Web Editions. Articles will be delivered in convenient PDF format with the same high level of readability as the original document.
Common Chemistry
Coverage: 		    Open Access
Scope: a web resource that contains CAS Registry Numbers for approximately 7,900 chemicals of widespread general public interest. Common Chemistry is helpful to non-chemists who know either a name or CAS Registry NumberŪ of a common chemical and want to pair both pieces of information. The CAS Registry Number is the universally recognized unique identifier of chemical substances and is often found on packaging and on articles of commerce. While not a comprehensive CAS Registry Number lookup service, Common Chemistry does provide a way to quickly and easily find names or CAS Registry Numbers for chemicals of general interest.

Scope: retrieves information from databases produced by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS). The database contains over 16 million documents from more than 8000 chemical and chemistry-related journals covering literature from 1907 to the present. Partically indexed from 1907-1966. Search terms include research topic, author name, document identifier and chemical substance (including reactions and substructures)
Access Notes:
Complete abstracts available from 1967 to present. Abstracts from 1907 to 1966 accessible when available.
