Locker Rental Policy
There are lockers in the first floor graduate student area which may be rented by Michigan Tech graduate students.
Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. They are rented through the Director's Office (room 208), during regular business hours. Renters may choose their locker (subject to availability).
Terms and Fees
Rentals are made on a semester basis. Once a locker has been rented, it may be renewed indefinitely (one academic year at a time) as long as the renter continues to be a valid Michigan Tech graduate student.

Regulations
- The rental fee is non-refundable.
- Only personal materials and checked-out library material may be kept in the locker. Non-circulating and uncharged library materials are not to be stored in the locker at any time.
- No food or beverages may be stored in the locker.
- No hazardous materials may be stored in the locker.
- The library is not responsible for any items kept in the locker.
- Inspections of lockers are conducted regularly by the library staff, who are authorized by the renter to remove materials which violate the locker regulations (i.e. non-circulating, uncharged, overdue, hazardous, or consumable/food items).
- Overdue materials will be returned to the Circulation desk and the fine for the period overdue will be entered in your library record.
- charged and non-circulating materials will be removed from the locker. Privileges will be revoked with no refund.
- If violations are found on two inspection tours, locker use privileges will be permanently revoked.
- You may not change lockers unless there is something physically wrong with the locker you have been assigned.
- Material left in locker after expiration will incur a clear-out fine of $10.00, charged to your library account. The library is authorized to dispose of any personal material stored in the locker after the expiration date.
